New marketing material tells more about upcoming Samsung Galaxy A17 5G

Appeared footage used to tout the Samsung A17 5G tells more about its future features. We also learn what colors Samsung will soon release the cheap A17 5G in.
Marketing material of the Samsung A17 5G recently appeared exclusively at AndroidHeadlines but we also found it on a French-language website. It is not the exact same material, but new images, possibly intended for use on Samsung's own website.
Thanks to the images above, we learn that the Galaxy A17 5G has dimensions of 164.4 x 77.9 x 7.5mm and features a 6.7" Super AMOLED screen with FHD+ resolution and 90Hz display. Despite the low price, Samsung does give the device long-term software support for up to a whopping 6 years.
In the box, you'll only find the device with a USB-C to USB-C cable and a sim eject tool. You are supposed to charge the device with an existing USB charger. You can do that with up to 25W of power. There is IP54 waterproofing and the device scores a B energy label.
Available Samsung A17 5G colors
Samsung will soon release the Galaxy A17 in about three colors; black, blue and gray. We have seen the blue version before; it seems to be the same shade in which the S25 came out. A device many hundreds of dollars more, but in the same color.
Samsung in Europe is giving the Galaxy A17 5G a suggested retail price of €229.99, which is cheaper than previously reported by some sources. The new price is also more in line with what the A16 5G came out for at the time. That happened in October of 2024. Whether we also have to wait until October before the A17 5G is official remains to be seen.
