First image appeared of yet-to-be-announced Nothing Phone 3

It won't be announced until July 1, but already we can show you the first image of the upcoming Nothing Phone (3). It is supposed to be the first real flagship from UK-based Nothing, and this image thankfully does not disappoint us.

The image below of the Nothing Phone (3) appeared on Max Jambor's (@MaxJmb) timeline on X. We can see the back of the device, and it looks unmistakably like a Nothing phone. Thus, there is the necessary transparency and lots of beige tones. Only the Glyph lighting seems to be missing.

The latter should come as no surprise; Nothing previously hinted at it itself. Previous Nothing phones could notify you of notifications via this Glyph lighting and gave the device its unique look. At first glance, we also don't see anything on the Nothing Phone (3) that could take over Glyph's function.

Difference from previous images

Nothing previously shared some close-ups of the Phone (3), which we can retroactively find in the image above. The strange thing is that the close-ups that Nothing itself previously shared do not quite match. For example, some details are missing here and there.

Whether this is because Max's image is an early prototype we don't know (yet). We will find out July 1 when Nothing announces the device worldwide. Then we will probably also see the brand's first headphones; the Headphone (1). These are expected in white and black.

The Nothing Phone (3) will come with 12+256 or 16+512GB of storage in also a black and white color scheme. The expected price is 800 British Pounds, which converts to about €950. This will make the Phone 3 the most expensive phone from Nothing to date.

As such, the specifications will be accordingly. Expected inside is a Snapdragon 8 Elite, at least a 5000 mAh battery and a triple camera system with larger sensor for the main camera. Many other specifications remain secret for a while. For example, we still have not been able to find out how big the screen is.

We won't have to wait long before we get answers to that too. As mentioned, we will hear more July 1 when Nothing officially announces the device.
