Xiaomi makes POCO F7 official: fast chip, big battery, low price

Xiaomi today announced the POCO F7, which finally completes the F7 series. Previously, the F7 Pro and F7 Ultra were announced. The F7 series are finally premium flagships of which the F7 is now the most affordable, but certainly not much less than its brothers.
Of the POCO F7 Ultra, F7 Pro, the F7 has the largest screen. It measures 6.83 inches. No need to worry about a blurry image; it displays a sharp 1.5K resolution at up to 120 Hz. The maximum brightness of the OLED panel is 3,200 nits..
So the display has not been skimped on. Neither does the chipset it seems as there we find a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 4, the same chipset is expected in the high-end Nothing Phone (3). Combined with 12GB of RAM memory, we expect few hiccups. Extra-fast LPDDR5X memory with UFS 4.1 storage of 256 or 512GB in size has been chosen.
Featuring Sony main camera
The camera offering resembles that of the F7 Pro; a 50MP main camera + 8MP ultra-wide angle. Xiaomi opts for a Sony IMX882 sensor with extra-large f/1.5 aperture. Exactly what angle of view the ultra-wide angle has is not yet mentioned anywhere. On the front of the POCO F7 we find a 20MP selfie camera.
The battery is one of the pluses of the F7, it measures 6500 mAh in size, making it the largest of the entire F7 series. There is support for 90W of fast charging and 22.5W of back charging. The latter allows you to charge another phone, such as a friend's.
You will find the POCO F7 in stores in a few days in White, Black or Cyber Silver colors. The latter is being released as a Limited Edition and includes the Snapdragon logo and a diagonal paint job. Prices start from €449.90 for the 256GB model and go up to €499.90 to the 512GB version.
During the launch period, €50 temporarily goes off that. So some haste is called for.
