Exclusive: These are the 5 different cases for the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold7

Thanks to some sleuthing, we have found the future cases of the upcoming Galaxy Z Fold7. Samsung is releasing five types of cases in different colors, including a special one made of carbon fiber. And we have the images.

We have to hand it to Samsung; they are managing to stop leaks better this year than other years. It was particularly complicated to find leaks this year. Anyway, we did get some footage. This year we have the cases of the upcoming Galaxy Z Fold7. They are;

• Silicone case
• Clear case
• Clear grip case
• Clear Magnet case
• Carbon Shield case

The arrival of these cases should come as no surprise. Samsung also released similar cases for the Fold6. What is missing from this list is a case where you can store the S Pen, which we have not found (as of yet). That doesn't necessarily mean it's not coming, although there are rumors that the Fold7 won't handle an S Pen.

Fold7 Silicone case

The Silicone case will come in Black, Blue and Gray; most likely the same colors in which the Fold7 will come out. There is a fourth color; light green. The device inside that case appears to be silver.

The silicone case appears to be the simplest case Samsung has in its lineup but it still features a built-in kickstand. Samsung charges around €69 for one.

Fold7 Clear case

The clear case is the perfect choice for those who want a minimal look-and-feel and want to enjoy the Fold7 itself as much as possible. The see-through case shows off as many details of the updated Fold as possible, but with some added protection.

The price of the clear case is €49.

Fold7 Clear Grip case

For those who like the idea of a clear case, but prefer some extra grip, there is the Clear Grip case. It's practically the same case as the Clear case but with an extendable finger loop. The latter is not transparent but white.

Expect a suggested retail price of €53 for the Clear Grip case.

Fold7 Clear Magnet case

Samsung releases the Galaxy Fold7 with Qi2 but without magnets. To do align your wireless charger perfectly, there is the Clear Magnet case This clear case has a magnet in exactly the right position so that your charger is immediately attached correctly.

The clear case with magnets is going to cost about €57.

Fold7 Carbon Shield case

Finally, we found another special case made of carbon fiber; the Carbon Shield case. This appears to be a minimalist case that, judging by the images, only protects the back. The case comes only in black and has the pattern characteristic of carbon fiber.

The Carbon Shield case is the most expensive of all. Samsung charges €89 for one. And so we are a little closer to what Samsung will announce on Wednesday, July 9, during Galaxy Unpacked. We've seen press images of the Samsung Fold7 before, and specs came along as well. The cases are then a logical next step, and we're glad we were able to put another piece of the puzzle together. Now for the rest.
