Nothing releases Nothing Phone (3) with revamped Glyph Interface

As expected, Nothing has announced its latest phone, the high-end Nothing Phone (3). The device features a new kind of Glyph interface, which no longer works with static LED lighting, but with a dot matrix that can do much more than just display information.
The Nothing Phone (3) is a 6.67-inch smartphone with a very colorful, very sharp and very bright display. Still, the Phone (3) is all about the back. There we no longer find the individual Glyph lighting, but a round dot matrix of 25 by 25 pixels.
This monochrome screen keeps you informed of incoming calls, received messages and, of course, the time, but you can do more with it. Nothing has written several small applications for the little screen including;
- Spin The Bottle
- Glyph Mirror
- Rock Paper Scissors
- Compass
Interaction with the Glyph Matrix is possible via the button on the back that sits right in the middle. It all looks rather nostalgic and simple, but that's just the point.
Of course, the Nothing Phone (3) is equipped with good cameras. On the back we find three times a 50MP sensor meant for everyday photography, ultra-wide angle and for zooming in. When you are recording video, on the back the red LED light blinks, just like an old video camera. Also on the front is a 50MP large sensor for extra detail..
Inside, the Nothing Phone (3) uses a Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chip with 12+256GB or 16+512GB of memory. The Si-C battery has a capacity of 5150 mAh and can fast charge with 65W to wireless with 15W. Nothing ships the device in white and black with Android 15 with Nothing OS 3.5 on top. Android 16 with Nothing OS 4 is expected later this year.
The Nothing Phone (3) will cost $799 for the model with 256GB of storage and $899 for the one with 512GB. The device is expected later this month but is available for preorder now.
