This is when Samsung announces the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Flip 7

Samsung will announce its next Galaxy phones this summer, according to renowned leaker Evan Blass. Expect the next generation of foldable phones and new wearables at the Galaxy Unpacked event. Mark your calendars.
Via the X account of @evleaks, we read that Samsung will open the doors for a new Galaxy Unpacked on July 9, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. ET. Although Blass does not put it there, we suspect the event will be held in New York. In fact, Samsung reports the time zone is Eastern Time. It is then converted to 16:00 Central European Time.
Also, the Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Flip5 were announced in July so that's not surprising. Before that, Samsung mostly planned an Unpacked in August. Also expected on July 9 are new smartwatches including the Galaxy Watch 8 series that were recently featured here. Presumably Samsung will also give more details about Project Moohan; the VR headset it is making with Google.
What products can we expect?
Now the July rumor has been around for some time, but now we also know what day and time. Samsung has already hinted via teaser that the Fold 7 will be an extremely thin foldable, possibly the thinnest in the world. How that will affect battery life remains to be seen..
We know remarkably little about the Flip7 except for renders that have leaked. Samsung has managed to keep its latest products secret quite well this year. That does not apply to the Watch 8 models that have already been leaked frequently.
It promises to be a busy event with many new product announcements. For example, there is also some talk of a Flip 7 FE; a cheaper version of the foldable Flip phone. And then Samsung may even have a One More Thing moment in store, just like at previous Unpacked events.
