England Under-21 v Netherlands Under-21: Confirmed line-ups as Anderson returns for Young Lions

England have the chance to return to the final of the European Under-21 Championship when they face Netherlands Under-21s in Bratislava.

After three largely uninspiring performances in the group stage, Lee Carsley’s defending champions cranked into life in the quarter-final tie against Spain.

James McAtee, Harvey Elliott and Elliot Anderson were on target to secure a semi-final berth against the Dutch.

Michael Reiziger’s Jong Orange had to scrap for their place in the last four, beating Portugal 1-0 despite the early sending-off of Ruben van Bommel.

Carsley makes just one change to the side that performed so well against Spain with Anderson coming in for Tyler Morton in midfield.

Adam Stansfield gets another chance to impress in attack.

Netherlands Team News

Reiziger makes three changes to the team that ground out the win on Saturday.

Van Bommel is suspended, as are Devyne Rensch and Kenneth Taylor after both were shown yellow cards against Portugal.

Ernest Poku, the matchwinner at the weekend, starts alongside Neraysho Kasanwirjo and Antoni Milambo.
