Eberechi Eze keen on Arsenal switch – report

Crystal Palace midfielder Eberechi Eze is reportedly keen on a move to Arsenal.
The England international was at Arsenal as a teenager before being released and carving out a career at Queens Park Rangers, from whom he joined Palace in 2020.
He has blossomed at Selhurst Park and is now a full England international and regarded as one of the best attacking midfielders in the Premier League.
That profile has attracted interest from North London clubs, Arsenal and Tottenham, but it is the Gunners that Eze wants to join, according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano.

Eze release clause not a problem for Arsenal
The 27-year-old has a clause in his contract that runs until 2027 that stipulates he can leave if any club stumps up £68million.
And that appeals to Arsenal, who have lost Jorginho and Thomas Partey in recent weeks.
Neither Jorginho nor Partey are attacking midfielders but Mikel Arteta is blessed with being able to play Declan Rice in a number of positions to accommodate a player like Eze.
Brentford captain Christian Norgaard is also expected to join Arsenal in the coming days, following on from goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga, who became the Gunners’ first signing of the summer yesterday.
There remains no breakthrough in the search for a much-needed centre-forward, however.
Interest remains in Sporting CP’s Viktor Gyokores and RB Leipzig’s Benjamin Sesko but neither deal appears close.
