Arc Raiders players have adopted rubber Ducks

Arc Raiders Player asked to recycle ducks rubber accused of blasphemy, and likely blacklisted famed collector of ducks: "You mess the duck up, you mess us all!"

I am always amazed at the speed in which the arc raiders materials have adopted rubber Ducks as a symbol for the game. They are a beacon of hope for the Rust Belt. Embark provided the description of the duck – “Always there to lend you an ear if necessary” – but did the developers anticipate this kind of devotion? Exhibit A: Mentioning the idea of salvaging or recycling the ducks for rubber components will get your Speranza account thrown out faster than you can say, "friendly."

Velcr0Wallet, who posted in the Arc Raiders subreddit on Reddit recently, learned the lesson. This would be helpful evidence for a future report by historians about the strange duck faith in the game. "Why can't you break these down into rubber components?" The innocent question was asked.

It is obvious that rubber ducks were designed as salvage-proof trinkets to be sold. Others would say they are meant to be thrown out to spread awareness of the duck. arc raiders shop And some even collect them in their thousands. But the truth goes deeper, according to other players.

What are the reasons for checking SperginInSperanza? SperginInSperanza notes reasons to check. "Can You Break the Beauty of Music into Electromagnetic Disturbances and Electrical Activity Within the Brain? Can you dismantle God? If you could, would you really want to? "The Rubber Duck, is the Rubber Duck."

"Don’t listen him!" Another user commented on the post, "He's not in a good mind."

"Blasphemy!" Valky9000 shouts. "Why on earth would you?"

"You mess with me, you mess us all!" You can write another.

Kolby9241 probably has the best answer to all this. "Those are relics from a more prosperous time." A jewel of the old world. You can NEVER destroy these. You can also sit on them and they will make cute sounds. The ducks show how player behaviour can affect a game’s culture and tonality - an interesting side effect from a world with a sandbox such as Arc Raiders.

The ducks can be sold, but only to someone that will appreciate their true worth. (I would like to think Scrappy is surrounded by dozens in his coop. But destroying? But for rubber common parts? Unthinkable. Unconscionable. Unforgivable.

Embark Studios promises to address Arc Raiders' cheating as well as a rise in unfair exploits. It also promises new tools, punishments, and ways to clean up the game.

Ossen confirmed, in a message on the official Discord server of the game, that "We've heard the conversation about cheaters in ARC Raiders." Please be aware that we take your feedback very seriously.

There are many signs that cheaters in the gaming community have become a major problem. I've seen them myself on the PC. Embark claims to be stepping up their anti-cheat measure in response.

"Over these next few weeks we will implement major changes to our rule sets and introduce new detection systems to detect and remove cheaters," continues the statement. "This includes updating Anti-Cheat for improved detection of cheaters and bans as well as client-side fixings specifically to address the 'out-of map' bug. Additionally, we will be introducing streamers with tools that can help reduce stream sniping."

These "out-of-map" exploits are very common, as they don't require any special setup. If you are able to navigate the game and know exactly what you need to do, you can easily gain an advantage on other players. These exploits, thankfully, should be easier to solve than the arms-race of anticheat tech.

The nature of the banned items is not addressed in this - fair enough, an early statement and currently only available on Discord – statement. Arc Raiders' stance on cheaters has been criticized for its leniency. They have often given out 30-day suspensions instead of permanent ones. Embark's increased anti-cheat initiatives could lead to more and harsher bans.

I know there are some PC gamers who also get frustrated with the mouse macros that lead to instant kills by semi-auto weaponry like the Kettle gun. This type of issue may not be addressed by the new anti-cheat changes.
